HOW YOUR MONEY WILL HELP
Your money will ensure that Scope can continue its vital work with disabled people and their families. Below are some examples of how your money could be used:
£10 would pay for half an hour of a Scope Response worker receiving calls, listening and answering questions from young people and their families. Scope Response workers provide information, advice and support around all aspects of cerebral palsy and disability issues.
£250 would pay for a home visit by a Scope Response worker. This high quality service allows young people and adults in transition or crisis to talk face-to-face and for the Response Worker to assess the home environment.
£300 to £600 would pay for a walking frame for use at a Scope college. Due to the high number of students, individuals may have to share walking frames. With more frames available, students would be able to choose when they would like to walk rather than when there is a frame available.
£3000 would buy a communication aid for use at a Scope college. These are particularly expensive pieces of equipment, but are vital to ensuring the students can learn and develop.
Thank you from all the team at Scope, and all those who your money helps!
